Brigada Eskwela is the National Public Schools’ Maintenance Week and a project of the Department of Education. It aims to bring together all education stakeholders to participate and contribute their time, effort and resources to prepare school facilities for the opening of classes in each year. The University, through its Human Resource Department and assisted by Volunteerism Services Office, religiously participate in this endeavor as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility and Outreach program.

On the first day of the Brigada Eskwela 2019, TAMBayani Volunteers from different offices and institutes of FEU Manila volunteered to help clean the classrooms of Norzagaray National High School.

The involvement of all the newly elected student leaders across institutes reached out to various public schools and rendered services during the “Brigada Eskwela”. This is in close coordination with Student Development through Director, Ms. Lenore Delos Santos. Student organization officers were oriented by the Director of VSO prior to deployment as part of preparation for tasks and responsibilities as volunteers. NSTP students, staff and facilitators headed by the Coordinator, Noel Bejo were also part of the Team TAMBayani Volunteers. They distributed over 1,500 plus packs of school supplies to selected public schools.
